American Traveler is hiring a travel Acute Care Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a hospital-based inpatient unit, requiring an active SC OT license and NBCOT certification.

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

5x8-hour shifts per week

Weekend coverage required, approximately 1–2 weekends per month

Holiday coverage required as needed

Epic EMR used at this facility

Free parking available on-site

Active South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist license required at start of contract; license required if applicable

NBCOT certification required

BLS certification required (AHA accepted only)

Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date

Red scrub top and black scrub pants are required

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs

Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
