What You'll Do
As a MIG/TIG Welder, you'll fabricate and weld precision metal components used in critical industrial applications. You'll work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum while ensuring every weld meets MFC's high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and technical drawings
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld parts to precise specifications
- Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment for maximum performance
- Inspect finished welds for strength, accuracy, appearance, and quality
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment
- Collaborate with production documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous MIG/TIG welding experience required
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
- Experience welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing or industrial welding experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move material up to 50lbs
- Stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout an entire shift
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to visually inspect weld quality and measurements
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to:
- Welding fumes
- Industrial machinery
- Moderate to high noise levels
- Varying temperatures
- Proper PPE and welding safety equipment are always required
