Position Summary
- 1-year contract with potential for permanent hire.
- Manage repair orders within the ERP system.
- Quote repairs and support on-time shipment delivery.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain reports focused on repair order process flows to improve visibility and efficiency.
- Ensure high attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Create SAP transactions to maintain order, inventory, and invoicing accuracy.
- Support automation of repair order entry processes using ERP-related tools.
- Create and maintain reports in Power BI and Excel to improve processes and reduce shop turnaround time (TAT).
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution, provisioning, and E-commerce teams to support customer satisfaction and order delivery.
- Work with the sales team to create customer orders and acknowledgements in accordance with PSA obligations and standard work procedures.
- Coordinate with sales, shipping, and warehouse teams to expedite or trace shipments.
- Participate in Kaizen events and support the Collins Operating System (CORE).
- Provide solutions to recognized business problems.
- Make effective decisions on routine problems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training).
- Less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
- Experience using a database for data entry.
- ERP system experience (SAP or similar).
- Ability to solve routine problems using established processes and systems.
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, and in person).
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks with minimal direction.
- Experience with logistics, shipment tracking, and support.
- Repair station or manufacturing process experience.
- Aerospace contract administration experience.
- Working knowledge of:
- SAP
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Power BI
