Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard 21+ to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents, respond effectively to emergencies, and maintain compliance with security regulations. Responsibilities
- Monitor premises.
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for all personnel and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including interior and exterior areas, to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by implementing established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response coordination.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to handle disputes professionally while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills.
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and law enforcement collaboration when necessary.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to interact positively with staff and visitors.
- Understanding of physical security principles including patrolling strategies, emergency response procedures, and compliance with security regulations.
