Responsibilities
- Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and hand tools.
- Conduct mold remediation procedures to identify, contain, and eliminate mold growth safely and effectively.
- Assist with fire restoration processes by cleaning soot and smoke residues from affected surfaces and belongings.
- Utilize power tools and construction techniques to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for repairs.
- Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress clearly with team members and clients.
Skills
- Proven experience in restoration industry practices, including water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques using various tools such as hand tools, power tools, and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of construction methods relevant to repair and demolition tasks during restoration projects.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment safely and efficiently in diverse environments.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain procedures to clients when needed.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks that involve lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
