Tome Law Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal for a full-time, in-person position at our private home-based law office in Pompano Beach.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Compensation: $18.00/hour
The ideal candidate must be reliable, highly organized, responsive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced immigration practice with strict deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and organizing immigration filings and supporting documentation
- Filing documents through ECAS/EOIR
- Assisting with USCIS and Immigration Court matters
- Managing cases and documents through Docketwise and Dropbox
- Preparing exhibit packets, notices of filing, applications, and other case documents
- Communicating professionally with clients
- Monitoring deadlines and maintaining organized case files
- Assisting with urgent and time-sensitive matters
- Filing Asylum Applications (USCIS & Immigration Court)
- Filing Bond Motions, Motions to Reopen, Appeals
- Experienced with Complex Removal Defense
Qualifications:
- Prior immigration law experience required
- Experience with ECAS/EOIR filings strongly preferred
- Docketwise experience preferred
- Strong computer and document-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Professional and dependable
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Must be available and responsive throughout scheduled working hours
This is an in-person position at a private home-based law office in Pompano Beach, Florida. Please make sure you are comfortable working in a professional home-office environment before applying.
