Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. this role is critical to maintaining the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, and automation, along with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Hours are Sunday - Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues.
- Utilize PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) to identify faults and support equipment repairs.
- Maintain and repair automated systems including conveyors, , pneumatics, hydraulics, and material handling equipment.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs and parts usage.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems and machine diagnostics.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (drills, grinders, saws).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as needed. Standard shift 10pm - 6:30 am Sunday - Thursday.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general facility maintenance systems is a plus.
- Experience with continuous improvement or preventative maintenance programs is a plus.
- Forklift experience
