How You’ll Contribute:
- Design and implement complex MPLS network configurations, including VPLS, VPRN, and EVPN.

Partner with field teams to deploy WAN infrastructure, DWDM systems, and point-to-point (PTP) radio links and vital projects.

Diagnose and resolve utility grade LAN and WAN connectivity issues to ensure maximum network availability.

Maintain robust cybersecurity practices and identify proactive improvements for infrastructure defense.

Utilize system and reporting tools to track uptime statistics, system metrics, and key performance indicators.

Apply network design expertise to improve system monitoring tools and operational visibility.

Collaborate with engineers and operations to deliver actionable planning and strategy recommendations to leadership.
How You’re Qualified:
- Twelve or more years of experience in electronics and/or telecommunications maintenance/ operations, or other relevant experience.

A degree(s) in electronics technology, telecommunications technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Proficient in managing large scale MPLS environments for various customers.

Certification(s): Cisco CCNP, Juniper NRS II, and/or SRA.

Proficient in supporting complex carrier-grade LAN/WAN network infrastructures.

Experience in deploying Layer 2 and Layer 3 multi-vendor protocols including STP, OSPF, IS-IS, and BPG.
