Construction Project Coordinator
Position Summary
Continental Construction and Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The Project Coordinator works closely with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project activities and provide administrative support to project management.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, submittals, and reports.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members regarding project updates and requirements.
- Schedule meetings, site visits, inspections, and deliveries.
- Assist with procurement by obtaining quotes, tracking purchase orders, and coordinating material deliveries.
- Monitor project costs and assist with budget tracking and reporting.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
- Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable building codes.
- Assist in resolving project issues by coordinating with the appropriate team members.
- Prepare progress reports and other documentation as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with construction management software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and documentation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
