Position Description:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who can support both traditional mechanical systems and modern automated equipment. This position includes hands‑on work with robotic systems, milling machines, and general facility maintenance. The role also requires occasional travel, including short‑distance service calls and occasional overnight trips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and production machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial robots and automated systems such as Fanuc, Motoman, and Nachi
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate milling machines and other precision equipment
- Complete work orders accurately and document all repairs
- Assist with equipment assembly, installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Travel short distances for service calls and occasionally stay overnight for off‑site repairs
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or industrial equipment service (4-10 years)
- Hands‑on experience with robotic systems (FANUC, ABB, YASKAWA, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Ability to repair and maintain milling machines and other precision machinery
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC basics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various environments
- Willingness to travel short distances and occasionally stay overnight
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently
