Safford CDJR Sterling is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our Parts Department.
We are looking for someone who knows how a busy dealership parts department operates — someone who can take care of technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts accurately, quickly, and professionally.
If you have dealership parts experience, know your way around electronic parts catalogs, and take pride in getting the right part to the right person the first time, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
- Assist service technicians with fast, accurate parts identification and fulfillment
- Help retail and wholesale customers identify and source the correct parts and accessories
- Use electronic parts catalogs and dealership systems to research availability, pricing, and fitment
- Quote and process parts orders, special orders, returns, invoices, and credits accurately
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers regarding parts availability and order status
- Receive, stock, organize, and maintain accurate parts inventory
- Help locate parts that are not currently in stock
- Support wholesale operations and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional parts-counter environment
- Work closely with the Parts Manager, Service Advisors, technicians, and dealership team
What We're Looking For
Preferred:
- Previous automotive dealership parts experience
- Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or Mopar parts experience
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerCONNECT, electronic parts catalogs, or similar dealership systems
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems
- Experience supporting both technician and customer-facing parts requests
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Dependable, professional, team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working with computers and dealership software
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to meet applicable pre-employment requirements
Compensation
$50,000–$70,000 per year based on experience and the dealership's applicable compensation plan
Experienced dealership and CDJR/Mopar candidates may qualify toward the upper end of the posted range.

Schedule
Full-time position.
Our Parts Department operates Monday through Saturday and is closed Sundays. Specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
