About the Role:
Platinum Healthcare is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Therapy Technician (Med Tech) to support patients and daily clinic operations.
This position combines hands-on patient assistance, therapy and equipment setup, medical-record management, and front-office support. Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training and are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and direct patients throughout their visits.
- Set patients up on prescribed therapies and treatment equipment.
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms and equipment.
- Download X-rays, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic images.
- Upload and accurately label medical records and files.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out.
- Schedule appointments and communicate next steps.
- Answer phones, take messages, and route calls.
- Maintain patient privacy and follow clinic procedures.
- Support providers and other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with patients.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new technology.
- Able to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Previous healthcare or medical-office experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
