Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality care to patients in various medical settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks under the direction of a healthcare provider
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the healthcare provider
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
- Testing on patients x-rays, EKGS, glucose, urines, pregnancy testing, COVID, flu, mono, strep, and spirometry
Experience
- Knowledge of physiology and vital signs monitoring
- Proficiency in medication and vaccination administration
- Experience in patient service and care
- Familiarity with emergency medicine practices
- Exposure to various medical specialties pediatrics and internal medicine
- Previous work experience in a clinical setting
Pay: $17.50 - $18.75 per hour
