Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including setting up necessary equipment such as medical supplies.
- Support physicians during procedures by handing instruments, administering medications under supervision, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Perform clinical duties such as drawing blood, administering injections, and assisting with minor surgical procedures in outpatient settings.
- Monitor patient physiology during visits, including assessing vital signs and providing basic life support when necessary.
- Manage administrative tasks like maintaining detailed medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical settings such as outpatient clinics or hospital environments.
- Knowledge of i medical-surgical practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks, including medication administration and vital signs measurement.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
