Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial services, with a focus on providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests or residents. This role is essential in ensuring that our premises meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, polishing, and deep cleaning carpets or tiles to maintain pristine conditions
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replacing toiletries, and ensuring proper sanitation standards are met
- Assist with special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning or deep sanitation procedures as needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to uphold safety standards
- Follow established protocols for health and safety regulations within hospitality or institutional settings
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments preferred; hotel or custodial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as required
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is advantageous but not mandatory
- A positive attitude and professional appearance are essential for delivering exceptional service standards
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
