Ace Prevention Private Security is looking for Security Guards for the New Orleans/Westbank area.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct thorough security checks of individuals, conducting bag checks and screenings with handheld metal detectors.
- Monitor crowd to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- Monitor cameras and surveillance systems to detect any suspicious activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Activity Log Skills.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:
- Crowd Control.
- Bag Checks/ Handheld Metal Detector Screenings.
- Excellent sense of judgment.
- Can stay alert at all times.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Guard Card.
