We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the property's buildings, grounds, equipment, and guest areas while providing excellent service to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve problems promptly.
- Complete work orders and document repairs using the HotSOS system.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate logs.
- Conduct daily duty rounds and correct or report safety and maintenance issues.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs.
- Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with pool and spa maintenance, including chemical testing and equipment checks.
- Assist with fire alarm and fire sprinkler inspections and basic maintenance.
- Perform property clean-up, including snow removal in winter and plant watering in summer.
- Complete arrival inspections and ensure guest accommodations are properly maintained.
- Troubleshoot basic TV, AV, and Internet issues.
- Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a clean driving record.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe, professional, and guest-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous building maintenance, hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or handyman experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to read and follow maintenance, safety, and operating instructions.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and prioritize work orders.
- Clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
- CPO certification or pool/spa experience is a plus; training is available.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds and safely work around mechanical equipment, chemicals, electrical systems, and elevated areas.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
