We are seeking dependable, energetic Seasonal Grill Team Members to join our team through Early October (end of the season).
The Grill Team Member is primarily responsible for preparing burgers, grilled sandwiches, hot dogs, and other grilled menu items while maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, speed, and cleanliness. Team members are cross-trained throughout the restaurant based on their experience and strengths, but this position's primary focus is back-of-house grill operations. During slower periods, Grill Team Members may assist with food prep, expo, dishwashing, stocking, or front-of-house support as needed.
Primary ResponsibilitiesGrill Operations
· Prepare burgers, sandwiches, grilled proteins, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
· Cook food to proper temperatures while maintaining consistency and presentation.
· Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders during busy service periods.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked grill station.
· Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, and temperature procedures.
· Communicate with the kitchen and expo team to ensure accurate, timely orders.
Kitchen Support
· Assist with food preparation before and during service.
· Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
· Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and closing duties.
· Help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness and organization.
Team Responsibilities
· Support teammates wherever needed as business demands change.
· Maintain a positive attitude during high-volume service.
· Follow direction from Shift Leads and Managers.
· Contribute to a respectful, safety-focused team culture.
Qualifications
· Previous grill, line cook, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
· Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
· Available to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts throughout the season.
· Pierce County Food Worker Card (or ability to obtain before employment begins).
Compensation
· Starting wage: $18.00 per hour DOE
· Plus tips, typically averaging $6–$15 per hour additional
