Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, and light food items with precision and care
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients for drinks and snacks while adhering to food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality or friendliness
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is a must
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to pick up knowledge quickly.
- Flexible availability to work.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales and change
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling, and proper sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Basic understanding of food preparation, serving techniques, and retail math principles
- Experience in the food industry or café environment is advantageous but not mandatory
