We are seeking a skilled Service Retrofit Technician to join our special projects team working on HVAC systems. This role works with Service team and Construction team to complete assigned projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Duties/Skills:
- Understanding of HVAC systems – types, operation, installation and startup – Both Air and Water Cooled
- Installation and replacement of existing commercial HVAC Systems
- Modification and Balancing of Duct as necessary
- Termination of electrical supply after disconnect
- Test / Balance and Start up equipment
- Installation of Piping – Refrigerant piping, brazing and soldering of copper
- Experience with Crane Lifts and Rigging
Work Qualifications -
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience hands on installing Commercial HVAC equipment is preferred
- Licensed for handling refrigerant – EPA card
- Problem-solving skills and strong customer communication skills
- Self-motivated and Team Player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- EPA Universal (Required)
- OSHA10 preferred
Compensation DOE - higher rate may be considered for experienced candidate based on relevant experience. Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a full background screening that includes a criminal background, drug test, and physical ability test. A clean driving record is a must.
