VS1 Hair Salon is looking for a talented and reliable Hair Stylist to join our growing team. We are seeking someone passionate about hair, client service, and creating a welcoming salon experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform haircuts, blowouts, styling, and finishing services
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and desired results
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Provide excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Assist with salon operations and support team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid New York Cosmetology License
- Experience with blowouts, haircuts, and styling services
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Open availability preferred
Position Details:
- Full-time preferred (part-time applicants will also be considered)
- Salon hours: Monday–Sunday
- Weekend availability is required
- Sunday availability is strongly preferred, as this is one of our greatest staffing needs
- Competitive compensation based on experience

- Starting pay is $120 per day, plus commission and tips
