Duties
- Stock shelves efficiently by unloading shipments, organizing products, and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising plans
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, update stock levels, and maintain inventory control
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and moving heavy items within the warehouse or stockroom
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and preparing items for sale or storage
- Support merchandising efforts by maintaining attractive displays and ensuring product freshness in produce sections or grocery aisles
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of stock areas to uphold safety standards and store appearance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking processes, support customer service initiatives, and contribute to a positive shopping environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks throughout shifts
- Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is desirable; certification is a bonus
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs
- Knowledge of retail math principles related to stock levels, pricing, and sales transactions
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
