INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN / INSTRUMENT REPAIR TECHNICIAN
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician / Instrument Repair Technician to support electrical, instrumentation, and control-system maintenance in our heat treating facility. This role involves working with industrial furnaces, temperature-control systems, sensors, PLCs, and electrical distribution equipment. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, experience with instrumentation, and the ability to respond to trouble calls in a fast-paced production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical System Maintenance — Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, drives, relays, and control circuits.

Instrumentation & Controls — Maintain and repair system sensors, thermocouples, controllers, transmitters, and furnace instrumentation.

Print Reading & Diagnostics — Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints for troubleshooting.

Heat Treat Equipment Support — Assist with electrical and instrumentation maintenance on furnaces, quench systems, and temperature-control equipment.

Preventive Maintenance — Perform PM tasks on electrical panels, sensors, controllers, and safety systems.

PLC & Control Troubleshooting — Diagnose issues with PLCs, relays, and automated control systems (experience preferred, not required).

Respond to Trouble Calls — Provide timely response to equipment failures, alarms, and electrical or control-system issues.

Safety Compliance — Follow electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and facility safety requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS

Instrumentation Skills — Experience with sensors and temperature-control systems.

Electrical Print Reading — Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints.

Troubleshooting Ability — Strong mechanical, electrical, and control-system diagnostics.

PLC Knowledge — Experience with PLCs, relays, and automation preferred.

Heat Treat Experience — Experience with furnaces or thermal processing equipment is a plus.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in hot environments, and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
