About Us
Inspired Closets Milwaukee is a fast growing local business backed by a nationally recognized brand. We specialize in custom home organization solutions — closets, garages, home offices, laundry rooms, pantries, and more. We're proud of our craftsmanship, our team culture, and the exceptional experience we deliver to every client. As we continue to grow, we're looking for talented people who want to grow with us.
The Opportunity
We're hiring a Custom Closet Installer to join our installation team. In this role, you'll be the face of Inspired Closets in our clients' homes — bringing their custom organization systems to life with skill, care, and professionalism. Whether you're an experienced installer or a hands-on problem-solver who loves working with tools, we want to hear from you. We will train the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Install custom closet, garage, and home organization systems in clients' homes
- Read and follow CAD drawings and project specifications accurately
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Deliver a polished, professional, on-brand experience at every job site
- Work independently and as part of a tight-knit installation team
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners
- Leave every job site clean, organized, and ready for the client
What We're Looking For
- Comfort using a drill, saber saw, circular saw, and tape measure
- Ability to read and follow CAD drawings or detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Friendly, empathetic, customer-focused attitude
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Experience working in clients' homes (preferred but not required)
- Previous custom closet, cabinetry, carpentry, or trim work experience (a plus, not required)
No degree required — just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to doing great work.
Why Work With Us
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Paid training (online, in-classroom, and hands-on)
- Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding local company
- Supportive team culture that values your contributions
- Work with a nationally recognized brand right here in the Milwaukee area
- Variety — every home and every project is different
