Superior Medicaid Services is seeking a confident, compassionate, and results-driven Long-Term Care Medicaid Advocate to develop and expand our referral network throughout Marion County, Citrus County, Alachua County, and designated portions of Lake County.
This is a field-based position for someone who enjoys building professional relationships, educating families, identifying solutions, generating referrals, and being directly rewarded for measurable production.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and motivated by both helping families and achieving clearly defined performance goals.
Compensation & Benefits
- $35,000 annual base salary
- $350 monthly vehicle allowance
- Uncapped performance-based commission
- Expected total compensation at target production of approximately $47,000–$52,000 annually
- Strong performers may earn $55,000–$65,000+

Commission is designed to reward production, with greater earning potential for employees who consistently meet or exceed established goals.
Territory
The assigned territory will include:
- Marion County
- Citrus County
- Alachua County
- Designated portions of Lake County
This is primarily a field-based position and will require regular travel throughout the territory to visit referral sources, meet with families, attend meetings, develop new relationships, and maintain existing professional partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, home health providers, attorneys, social workers, case managers, discharge planners, and other community referral sources
- Conduct regular in-person visits with current and prospective referral partners throughout the assigned territory
- Educate referral sources and families about the Medicaid application processing, education, guidance, support, and coordination services offered by Superior Medicaid Services
- Help families understand available options and identify appropriate next steps based on their circumstances
- Respond promptly to prospective clients and referral sources
- Meet with families when appropriate and assist with the client contracting process
- Identify and develop new referral opportunities
- Maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners, prospective clients, and active leads
- Accurately document marketing activity, contacts, leads, referrals, and follow-up in the company CRM
- Work closely with the Medicaid processing team to ensure a smooth transition from referral to client service
- Represent Superior Medicaid Services professionally at networking events, community meetings, educational presentations, and other outreach opportunities

Relationship building, education, and consistent outreach are important, but success will ultimately be measured by the Advocate’s ability to develop a meaningful referral pipeline, generate new clients, and produce measurable revenue.

The Long-Term Care Medicaid Advocate will use their personally owned vehicle for business-related travel. Employees are responsible for maintaining required automobile insurance coverage and immediately reporting any lapse or material change in coverage.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:
- Healthcare marketing
- Skilled nursing or assisted living
- Home health or hospice
- Hospital or rehabilitation services
- Senior services
- Healthcare sales
- Business development
- Professional referral development
- Community outreach
Knowledge of Florida’s Long-Term Care Medicaid Program is not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Existing professional relationships within the Marion, Citrus, Alachua, and Lake County senior-care, healthcare, legal, or long-term-care communities are a significant advantage.
