Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash register or POS system
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience in the food industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your location)
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations
