What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications.
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care through a secure telehealth platform.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted Indiana RN license
- Active, unrestricted Indiana APRN license
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
- Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
- Comfortable providing care through telehealth
- Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of psychiatric assessment and medication management experience
- Previous telepsychiatry experience
- Experience treating children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
