American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Alabama, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Medical/Surgical unit (Floor 6) in a hospital setting

Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
-
Every other weekend required

Patient ratio of 6:1

Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
13-week contract

Active AL or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
