The Facilities Technician II performs skilled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair work across facility systems and equipment. This role operates with greater independence, supports operational reliability, and helps mentor entry-level technicians while ensuring facilities remain safe, efficient, and compliant. This position works 6:30am - 3:00pm, with one weekend day per week.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys troubleshooting and solving facility-related issues
- Has experience working across multiple building systems
- Likes mentoring less experienced team members
- Takes ownership of projects from start to finish

- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs across facility systems
- Repairing and maintaining plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, doors, ceilings, and facility infrastructure
- Performing drywall repair, painting, texture work, and finish projects
- Managing work orders and facility maintenance requests
- Coordinating with vendors and contractors when needed
- Training and supporting Facilities Technician I team members

- Maintenance requests are completed promptly

- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Two to four years of facilities maintenance, construction, building systems, or related experience (Three to four years of related experience preferred)
- Ability to independently perform routine and moderately complex repairs
- Solid knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and building systems

- Work across residential, behavioral health, healthcare, office, and community-based facilities
- Frequent use of maintenance equipment, hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and machinery

- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Occasional local travel, on-call responsibilities, and after-hours response may be required
