Overview:
Navigator - Restaurant
A Navigator is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests’ first impression of the restaurant is a positive one.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a professional, pleasant and helpful manner and directs them to their seats promptly and present them with menus

Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner

Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests

Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary

Take to-go orders over the phone and in person

Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of food and beverage charges

Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service

Refill drinks and clear plates as needed during guest’s dining experience.

Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating/dining flow.

Performs opening and closing duties as directed by supervisor or manager

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures

Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees

Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service

Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1 year of restaurant experience preferred
Organizational skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude
Work well in a team environment
Ability to multitask
Availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays
Previous money handling experience preferred
Must be professional and neat in appearance
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Pay Range: USD $19.50 - USD $19.50 /Hr.
