Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate of trucks, including tractor-trailers
- 100% Drop & Hook
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, adhering to schedules while navigating traffic laws and safety protocols diligently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, inspection reports, and other required records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; minimum 1 year with CDL license
- Ability to perform route driving efficiently while managing time effectively across multiple stops.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws; previous delivery driver experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with vehicle inspection protocols and maintenance requirements for tractor-trailers and specialized trucks.
