At Lancaster Rec, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead ECE Teacher to join our Early Childhood Education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where toddlers can learn, grow, and thrive. Position Highlights
- Pay: $16 – $18 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday
- Location: In-person

What You’ll Do
As a Full-Time Early Childhood Education Staff member, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting children’s development in a fun and nurturing setting. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Classroom Leadership & Child Development
- Plan and implement engaging daily lesson plans that foster toddler development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track students’ social, physical, and academic progress.
- Implement positive behavior management techniques and support toddlers in developing independence.
- Provide individualized attention to meet each child’s unique needs.
- Administrative & Program Support
- Prepare and maintain indoor and outdoor learning areas.
- Assist in completing required paperwork, including lesson plans, calendars, and newsletters.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Certification: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or strong interest in pursuing one (Required)
- Experience: 2+ years of experience working with infants/toddlers in a childcare setting, with prior experience supervising children
- Clearances: Must be able to obtain and maintain all DHS clearances
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs safely

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
