Multiple Shifts Opening:
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Weekend Shift: Thursday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- All selected contractors will complete 6 weeks of training on First Shift (Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) before transitioning to their assigned shift.
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support the production, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex RF and microwave subsystems used in advanced aerospace and defense applications.
- This position offers the opportunity to work on high-reliability, multifunction electronic modules throughout the product lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RF hardware, microwave test equipment, production troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production, integration, and sustainment of complex RF and microwave hardware.
- Troubleshoot RF designs and resolve integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and validation of RF and microwave electronic assemblies.
- Utilize RF microwave test equipment and simulation tools to evaluate system performance.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, circuit design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Analyze test data and document engineering findings and recommendations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support product qualification, manufacturing transitions, and continuous process improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and present engineering findings to internal teams and customers when required.
- Provide technical leadership in resolving complex production and engineering challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of professional RF engineering experience.
- Experience troubleshooting RF designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with RF hardware.
- Experience using RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Experience supporting aerospace or defense electronics programs.
- Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware, including: Antennas, Transmitters and Receivers, Microwave Components, Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), High Power Amplifiers (HPAs), Advanced Electronic Modules, Mixers and RF Switches, Frequency Generation and Frequency Conversion Circuits
- Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
- Experience reviewing engineering specifications, schematics, and test data.
- Prior RF design experience.
- Experience leading failure investigations and root cause analysis.
- Customer-facing technical presentation experience.
