$8.50 per hour plus tips earned while working
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operation of the bar
- Clean tables and chairs off / mop the floor
- Restock coolers, prep fruit for mixed beverages, etc.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team
