Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Care and Pressure Washing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces in commercial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental services, custodial practices, and floor care techniques to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all building occupants.
Duties
- Execute specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to enhance the appearance of hard surface floors.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to remove stains and maintain cleanliness.
- Perform pressure washing projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services in various areas of the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing equipment and supplies after use.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in environmental services or custodial work.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning methods.
- Knowledge of pressure washing methods and machinery.
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds, standing for long periods, and moving throughout the facility.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
