Summary
A Millroom Operator is an entry-level position. Personnel hired into this position are trained on one or more of the following operations: weigh-up, mill, doughmix, reclaim, material handling, paint mill, and 11D mixer.
Job Responsibilities

Follow work instructions to safely and efficiently complete production

Report daily production and label materials accurately

Set up necessary equipment based on established standards

Verify products meet quality standards

Use a digital scale to weigh ingredients

Understand process sheets, work instructions, and proper material handling

Report to work as scheduled and on time
-
Other duties as assigned, including physical inventory
Minimum Qualifications
-
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
-
Must be safety conscience
-
Must be able to keep detailed records
-
Must have good hand and eye coordination, good eyesight, corrective lens acceptable

Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time

Must be able to maintain a clean work environment
-
Must be able to work in a dusty, hot/cold environment

Must be able to work as a team member
-
Must posses a willingness to cross train on multiple processes
Payrate / Hours
-
Starting Payrate - $15.00/hr
-
+ $0.50 increase with completion of training & 90-days
-
1st shift 7am-3:30pm
-
3rd shift 11pm-7:30am w/ +$2.00 shift differential
