About the Organization
Bright Path Behavioral Health is a Walpole, Massachusetts based treatment center providing dual diagnosis care to individuals and families across the state. As part of the Resilience Behavioral Health network, Bright Path offers a full continuum of structured, evidence-based programming, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care, with an emphasis on treating mental health and substance use conditions together.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join the Bright Path Behavioral Health team in Walpole, MA. This is a full-time, on-site role delivering individual and group therapy at the PHP/IOP level of care within a structured, supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical grounding, a genuine commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care, and the interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse client population.
What You'll Do

Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities

Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team

Complete clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, accurately and within required timeframes

Conduct comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, and diagnostic formulations

Provide crisis intervention and risk management services, including safety planning and de-escalation as needed

Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, and behavioral health technicians to ensure integrated and effective patient care

Engage patients and families in treatment planning and provide psychoeducation regarding mental health conditions, coping skills, and wellness strategies

Ensure compliance with facility policies, accreditation standards, and legal and ethical guidelines, including HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Maintain knowledge of and adhere to workplace violence prevention and drug-free workplace policies

Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training to support professional development and maintain current clinical best practices

Assist with discharge planning by coordinating referrals, aftercare services, and community resource connections

Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development efforts as needed

Perform other duties as assigned by clinical leadership to support patient care
Benefits
Compensation and Schedule:

Salary: $62,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience (Exempt)

Schedule: Full-time, Days

Optional additional flat-rate shift pay: Night IOP ($100 per group facilitated), Saturday PHP ($100 per group facilitated)
