Architectural Millwork Estimator:
Position requires knowledge of the Architectural Millwork Industry. Must be energetic, positive and possess good communication skills with a focus on customer service. Estimator is accountable for creating competitive and comprehensive millwork estimates with all qualifications and quantifications. Estimator is to follow AMC estimating processes and procedures. Estimator is expected to deliver estimates to Senior Estimator 3 to 4 days before bid due dates. Prior Architectural Millwork Estimating experience is required for this position.
Must have experience in Innergy ERP System.
Must be able to take off and price in Innergy.
Verify that ALL bid documents have been taken into consideration, to Include plans, specs, project handbook and any R.F.I. responses provided and documented on proposal.
Generate Pre-Bid R.F.I.’s when clarification is needed from bid documents.
Send Bid Documents out and Scope and Clarify each subcontractor has picked up complete Scope of Work.
Follow Bid Format or Bid Sheet at request of client or customer.
Identifying and reviewing material and labor requirements in order to determine which is more cost-effective in producing components or purchasing components.
Estimating the time, materials, or equipment that are required to complete a job or project.
Creating, analyzing, and maintaining correct and accurate quantities and thorough take-offs from plans.
Ensuring that the organization or client have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day.
Showing creativity and resourcefulness in order to gain the best pricing from subcontractors.
Assisting with operational projects when required.
Create clear and concise working budgets from estimates for operations.
Project hand-off meetings.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
