American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a CT Scan unit at a Trauma Level IV teaching hospital, with at least 1 year of experience and dual modality capability in CT and Radiology.

CT Scan unit at a 182-bed Trauma Level IV designated teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
-
High-volume department averaging 325 patients per day across modalities

Patient population includes a variety of diagnoses across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
-
12-hour evening shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (36 hrs/week)

Schedule cycles every 4 weeks; weekend and call requirements vary by modality and will be discussed during interview

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays

EMR: Epic

Equipment includes Siemens and GE imaging systems

Floating to Region 2 facilities, which may include Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and Central Division locations

Minimum of 1 year of core work experience in the unit specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
-
ARRT(R) certification with BLS required for Rad Tech modality; ARRT(R)(CT) certification with BLS required for CT Tech modality

Active license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience

Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB for consideration

Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Orientation includes online NEO coursework followed by 3–5 days of departmental orientation depending on modality

Department is supported by nursing and transport staff, emphasizing team accountability in a high-volume, patient-centered environment
