We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This position involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and furniture to uphold facility standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Porter duties and furniture assembly
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials according to guidelines.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management as needed.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Knowledge of daycare facilities maintenance practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Make exact measurements and follow dilution instructions for commercial cleaning products
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
