As a travel SLP, you’ll immerse yourself in new school environments, expanding your professional toolkit through exposure to diverse caseloads, innovative approaches, and collaborative leadership. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license for Washington or eligibility to obtain.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Ability to mentor and oversee the work of an SLPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and write IEPs tailored to student needs.
- Supervise and provide guidance to an assigned SLPA.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
