We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Days-Caregivers with HHA (Home Health Aide) and CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) credentials to join our vibrant caregiving team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and assisting with medication administration following medical protocols
- Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia support, end-of-life care, and memory care to ensure comfort and safety
- Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate medical documentation and maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment
- Utilize patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and proper patient transfer techniques to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with clients and family members to ensure personalized care plans are followed and needs are met
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, and vital signs measurement is essential
- Experience using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation is desirable
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Home & Community Care or Hospice Care are advantageous
- Familiarity with home health regulations, patient transfer methods, heavy lifting techniques, and medical records management is beneficial
- Proven ability to provide compassionate caregiving in long-term or live-in employment settings will set you apart
