Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified OB Tech (Certified Surgical Technologist – OB) for a 26-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong Labor & Delivery and OB surgical experience and be comfortable assisting with a variety of obstetric and gynecologic procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of CST experience, including at least 3 years of dedicated OB experience.
- Experience in Labor & Delivery and OB surgical procedures.
- EPIC charting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and infection prevention.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures, including Cesarean sections, tubal ligations, D&Cs, hysterectomies, cystoscopies, and vaginal deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and the operating room before, during, and after procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of surgical specimens.
- Maintain aseptic technique and comply with infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Support the surgical team during emergency obstetric procedures and hemorrhage management.
- Monitor surgical supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for each procedure.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Experience:
- CST including at least 3 yrs of dedicated OB.: 5 years (Required)
- Labor & Delivery and OB surgical procedures.: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
