Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of repairs from appliances, lighting, electrical, and other systems. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including exterior and interior electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and other mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct equipment repairs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- customer service with tenants and scheduling.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in appliance repair and general equipment troubleshooting.
- Experience working in construction or building maintenance environments is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective supervision or mentorship of team members when needed.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on maintenance activities clearly.
