Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology Physician, you will join a growing, physician-led practice at Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton, playing a pivotal role in the continued success, design, and development of our premier regional Cardiac Electrophysiology service line.
You will provide expert outpatient and inpatient clinical care to adult patients, diagnosing and managing complex cardiac arrhythmias, performing advanced device implantations, and executing catheter ablations. You will also contribute significantly to shaping a robust, patient-centered cardiovascular network in a highly collaborative environment alongside clinical leaders at St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology physician with a passion for clinical excellence, advanced procedural and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to expanding critical cardiac access within a supportive, mission-driven environment. This opportunity is structured to offer strong programmatic support and a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with shared regional call constraints.
Perform a full spectrum of advanced electrophysiology procedures, including complex catheter ablations (AFib, VT, SVT) and the implantation and management of pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices.
Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultative services, accurately interpreting diagnostic studies such as Holter monitors, event recorders, and device checks.
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with a dedicated network of local general cardiologists, primary care providers, and cardiothoracic surgeons to optimize patient care pathways.
Lead the clinical design, growth, and development of the local EP service line to expand critical regional access and capture outmigration across the greater San Joaquin region.
We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:
2yr guaranteed annual base salary ($550,000 - $600,000/year) plus productivity-based incentives

Job Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board eligible or board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABMS or AOA)
Active or eligible medical license in the state of California
Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)
Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-based clinical problem-solving skills

$600,000 - $670,000 /year
