We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Home Theater & AV Setup Specialist to join our team serving the Cottonwood, Sedona, and Verde Valley areas. Duties
- Install, configure, and calibrate home theater systems, audio/video equipment, control systems, and digital signal processing devices according to specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AV system diagrams to ensure accurate setup and integration of components.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues related to AV systems, control programming, computer networking, and digital signals to restore optimal performance swiftly.
- Perform routine maintenance on audiovisual equipment, cabling infrastructure, and telecommunication systems to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Set up and operate video conferencing systems for live events or remote communication needs while ensuring seamless operation.
- Manage cabling projects with mechanical knowledge of wiring standards and electrical experience to ensure clean and safe installations.
- Provide exceptional field service by guiding clients through system operation, training on control interfaces, and addressing post-installation concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong background in AV system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Proficiency reading electrical schematics, blueprints (including AV-specific schematics), and technical diagrams.
- Knowledge of control system programming (AV systems), software troubleshooting, and implementing audio/video solutions.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring standards, cabling techniques, mechanical knowledge related to AV hardware installation.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently during installations or repairs.
- Experience with computer networking concepts relevant to AV devices such as routers, switches, IP cameras, and video conferencing hardware.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions before, during, and after installation projects.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Electrical experience including telecommunication wiring practices is highly desirable.
