Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Associate Manager Logistics to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee warehouse distribution, transportation management, procurement, and inventory control processes. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless coordination across departments, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings. Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to ensure timely and cost-effective material movement.
- Support manufacturing and planning teams by aligning logistics activities with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, freight costs, lead times, and inventory movement.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, shipping documentation, and internal control requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, cost control, and service performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably within a manufacturing or EMS environment.
- 5–7 years of leadership experience managing logistics, warehouse, or supply chain teams.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international logistics operations, transportation management, and trade compliance requirements.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred), warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics service providers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements, cost reductions, and service enhancements.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
