Overview
Buckley Cable Construction is an industry leader in Cable TV and Fiber Optic infrastructure.
The Field Supervisor is essential to ensuring the field crews are performing efficiently, professionally and safely. They must demonstrate clear understanding of the customers scope of work and general industry construction practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: QC, crew routing, troubleshooting, vehicle upkeep, customer interaction, etc.
Current or previous experience supervising crews is necessary
Responsibilities
- In the field 80% of the time in all weather conditions
- Occasional emergency on-call
- Some weekend availability
- Be able to resolve customer issues in a professional and polite manner
- Be able to handle fast paced work and make on-the-spot decisions
- Ensure all work is being done safely under the OSHA guidelines
- Mentor and train new field employees on best industry practices
- Oversee sub-contractor crews
Experience
- 3+ Years experience required
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a MVR check
- Construction knowledge of aerial or underground cable/fiber builds
- Able to work independently
- Game-time decision making
