Product Analyst
Job Summary
Join our team as a Product Analyst and become the analytical backbone behind how we understand and improve the lending experience! In this role, you'll dig beneath surface-level metrics to uncover the real drivers of user behavior — designing experiments, building statistical and machine learning models, and partnering directly with Product and Engineering to turn data into action. Your analytical rigor and curiosity will shape decisions across the entire lending lifecycle, from application to underwriting to billing. Be part of a data-driven environment where your models, experiments, and insights directly influence product strategy and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Independently investigate trends, anomalies, and conversion drop-offs at a root-cause level, going beyond surface metrics into the underlying data and behavioral drivers.
- Design and analyze product experiments (A/B tests), including defining success metrics, sizing, and interpreting statistically significant results.
- Partner directly with Product and Engineering teams to understand data capture, instrumentation, and system logic well enough to build and validate your own models and recommend changes to the product — not just request data or write requirements.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, segmentation, propensity/risk models) to analyze user and product behavior across the lending lifecycle — application, underwriting, approval, billing.
- Build dashboards and reports as needed to operationalize analysis and findings.
- Proactively identify gaps in data quality, tracking, or instrumentation that limit analytical rigor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics with strong quant coursework, etc.).
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in advanced analytics, applying regression, classification, segmentation, or other ML techniques to real product/business data.
- Strong SQL and Python (or R) for statistical analysis — not just querying, but model-building and hypothesis testing.
- Demonstrated experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B testing, causal inference, or similar).
- Comfort working closely with Engineering teams on data instrumentation, event tracking, and pipeline logic.
- Good to have: Visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase etc.) as a supporting skill.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Join us as a Product Analyst where your strategic insights will fuel innovation! We’re committed to fostering an energetic environment that values collaboration, continuous learning, and impactful contributions—empowering you to make a real difference in our products’ success!
