Monarch Place is a welcoming senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating a warm, comfortable home for our residents. We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team.

Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policies.

Follow each resident's individualized plan of care and help ensure their daily needs are met.

Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and communicate important information to care staff, families, physicians, and leadership as directed.

Accurately document medication assistance, resident observations, incidents, interventions, clinical procedures, and communication throughout the shift.

Ensure important resident information is communicated to the incoming shift to support continuity and quality of care.

Help oversee timely and accurate documentation of resident services and changes in condition.

Assist with resident assessments and individualized care plans as required by state regulations and community policies.

Work closely with caregivers, nursing leadership, and other team members to provide a safe, supportive environment for residents.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

At least one year of related experience preferred.

Medication Technician certification/credential as required by Alabama regulations.

Compassionate and dependable with a genuine desire to work with seniors.

Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a resident-focused care team.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, grasp, and perform fine motor tasks throughout the workday.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
